When the canvas frays
in the currach of thought
and a stain of ocean
blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
a path of yellow moonlight
to bring you safely home.

Hello.
This weekend, under the almost-full moon light of a Capricorn moon, we held a special evening nature journaling workshop with the theme, “Noticing our Home.” Led by myself and Indigenous interculturalist and spiritual worker
(a fellow Cancer) it was the perfect, nourishing culmination of our exploration around home, being held, and our relationship as child and caregiver during Cancer season. This is a timeless practice you can do anytime under an evening sky.
Watch the full video to:
Get cozy and create a sacred container to reflect on your inner and outer landscapes
Learn a special moon-gazing ritual led by Darla to help you connect to the essence of the moon and feel connected to home
Spend time outside under an evening sky
Use prompts to create pages in your nature journal
Wrap up with poetry and future prompts to continue your practice until next month
