Remember your radiance ✨🦋
Invite some magic into your weekend with a simple, embodied Summer Solstice ritual
Hello.
This week has been one of the toughest mental health weeks for me since early pandemic times, sending me close to the edge, or maybe a breakthrough. I’m scared— for reasons I’m sure many of you can relate to as we spiral through a collective evolution, recognizing patterns, yet not sure exactly how they’ll play out this time.
It’s easy to lose perspective, but that’s when we need to turn to nature the most. As I write, it’s National Pollinator Week, a powerful reminder of nature’s cycles of transformation and change. Greeting my little pollinator garden every morning from my porch, I notice which plants are thriving, spreading, and blooming, or which ones need a little more care, doing the same with myself.
What needs more attention, care, or rest?
As we navigate seasons of transition, whether that means trepidatiously experiencing a new season of grief or unadulterated joy, or perhaps the identity shift that comes with taking on new responsibilities or releasing old ones, how can we hold our center and soothe our nervous system while allowing the natural process of metamorphosis to unfold?
Adapting to the shifts in the weather and riding the currents of transformation to the best of our ability, what anchors us during these moments?
For me, I need time to get back into my body, using yogic breath to sigh it out or stretch my limbs. I need the steady pace of taking a walk around my neighborhood and watching the seasons mirror change, sometimes slowly, sometimes suddenly. However, these practices only take me so far.
More than self-care and moments to pause and reflect, we need something deeper. We need rituals and ceremonies to honor the seasons of change together. Our sense of safety and stability is directly tied to the strength of our community.
So, I’m going to ask you something hard, maybe even uncomfortable!
I’ve created a simple (FREE!), beautiful Summer Solstice guide to help you pause and cherish all that you’re becoming. But I’m going to ask you to extend the invitation. Text or message one person (maybe more!) to invite them into ritual with you. This could be your kiddo, partner, witchy neighbor, friend, co-worker, or even an online buddy!
Included in your Summer Solstice guide 🦋
☀️An embodied sunrise/sunset ritual for all your senses
💗Rituals to share—curated “Read, Eat, Listen, and Make” practices to enhance your day
🎴A bonus three-card tarot reading to help you nurture your inner light
Rituals are a powerful way to find our rhythm and cadence with the heartbeat of life, but they were never meant to be practiced alone. Let’s create a community that celebrates them together!
The Solstice offers an important milestone in the Wheel of the Year—a time to reflect and align with life’s natural rhythms, but there are opportunities for us to create these harmonious rhythms and rituals throughout the year, too!
✨COMING SOON!✨
Rather than only pausing at Solstices or Equinoxes to notice the inner and outer shifts of energy, we need rituals throughout the year to carry us through the ebb and flow.
I’m thrilled to announce Rhythms and Rituals—a seasonal journal and guide to help you do just that.
Designed with original, nature inspired artwork by my friend Jordan (another creative mama!), our first-ever summer edition (July-Sept) was created for creative mamas, burned-out artists, and nature lovers, longing to reconnect to a way of living that nurtures our mind, body, and spirit.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s inside!
🌜Printable, monthly affirmations for each moon phase you can post on your mirror
✨Monthly energy overview for each season (Cancer, Leo, Virgo)
🌿Embodied rituals to soothe your nervous system and come home to yourself
📆Blank calendars you can reuse to track the lunar cycles and meaningful moments
🦋Plenty of space to set intentions, reflect, and release as you move through each season
It’s bright, colorful, and thoughtfully made to nurture your inner spark while offering deep moments of reflection and alignment.
I’m so excited for you to feel held by these rituals while finding permission to be exactly who you are in each season. A timeless resource you can return to each summer and make it your own, look for its release next week, with a special little giveaway included! (Make sure you’re subscribed to Heartbeats for an early bird email with a discount). 😊

Thank you for being here and sharing your journey of becoming. The more we pay attention to the natural ebb and flow of energy, the more we can find harmony and beauty alongside the chaos. A sacred acknowledgement of the both/and of life.
May you remember your radiance, now and always.
All my love,
Mariah
P.S. I'd love to hear how you plan to celebrate the solstice! If you end up trying the ritual, I'd be honored to hear about your experience.
